Kare-kare for brunch… Bigla kaming nag-crave ni hubs sa kare-kare at dahil late na kami nagising, sa mini palengke na lang muna namili. Team effort para makakain na agad. 🤭😋👍🏻 KARE-KARE RECIPE 1 kilo pork kasim Peppercorns Laurel leaves Salt & pepper Cooking oil Garlic Onions 3-4 cups water 1 pack kare-kare mix Salt or patis & pepper to taste 1 cup peanut butter Atsuete juice (atsuete dissolved + hot water) 1 tali sitaw 1 talong 1 puso ng saging 1 tali petsay INSTRUCTIONS: 1) In a pot, boil pork kasim, water, salt, peppercorns & laurel leaves. 2) Remove scum then cook for 30 mins. or until tender. Set aside. 3) In another pan, saute garlic and onions in oil until fragrant. 4) Add cooked pork with its broth. 5) Pour in more water if needed. 6) Add kare-kare mix, peanut butter, atsuete mixture then mix well together until thick. 7) Add water as needed. 8) Add in veggies except petsay. 9) Once veggies are almost done, add petsay. 10) Enjoy!
