Actor and singer Chris Colfer has just revealed that when he started filimg Glee he was told to hide his sexuality. Speaking to The View, Colfer said: “When I started filming the show I had a lot of people tell me ‘don’t come out whatever you do because it will ruin your career’. Despite this, Colfer said he couldn’t hide his true self for long, adding that he would much rather be a “beacon of positivity”.
